INGOLD, Henry William, Private, (also named as Harry). Died 28/09/1918 aged 20 enlisted Henham, Service No. G/61270 24th Battalion. Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment), formerly 3908, Essex Regiment. Killed in action, France & Flanders. He is buried at Flesquieres Hill British Cemetery. Born 1898 son of Herbert and Mary Ingold of 40 Crow Street, Henham. His mother was informed he did not have a grave when she asked the War Office.
